Who we are
Umut Gurcan, Founder
After more than two decades working in complex corporate transformation, integration, strategic execution and transformation, she created ANKA to bring more clarity, structure and honesty to the decisions people often face alone.
Her work combines strategic thinking with a strong interest in wellbeing, meaningful work and the practical realities behind a good decision. ANKA is for people who do not need more noise, generic inspiration or false certainty—they need to understand what matters, what to investigate and what to do next.
Wouter De Smet, Legal Advisor
He contributes legal perspective to selected ANKA projects, helping ensure that practical guidance is properly grounded and that the boundaries between general information, preparation and specialist advice remain clear.
The ANKA ecosystem
No serious decision is solved by one generic expert. ANKA works through an ecosystem of relevant independent professionals and advisors—from legal, immigration and business specialists to financial, health and wellbeing professionals.
ANKA’s role is to help people prepare, understand the right questions and recognise when specialist input is needed. Where specialist advice is required, the right professional should take over. We do not blur that boundary or sell certainty we cannot honestly provide.
